Peak of the Market Ltd. Growers and our Distribution Centres undergo an independent third-party Food Safety Audit every year.
All Peak of the Market Ltd. Growers are annually audited to the standards of the CanadaGap Food Safety Program by NSF International (Certification Body). The CanadaGap Program is recognized internationally by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). The CanadaGap Program proudly meets the food safety requirements of the Safe Food for Canadian Regulations (SFCR) and is harmonized with the U.S. Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
Our Distribution Centre is proudly BRC-certified (British Retail Consortium) by NSF International, and C-TPAT-validated (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism). These measures aid our ability to provide a safe and secure food supply that is recognized world-wide. In addition to C-TPAT certification, Peak of the Market Ltd. is also a certified member of the Canadian Border Services Agency – Partners in Protection program.

Organic vegetables are also grown, stored and packed to meet or exceed the requirements of the Quality Assurance International (QAI) audited organic standard.
