Position: Seasonal Help

Position Type: Seasonal – Non-Unionized

Purpose & Scope:

As Seasonal Help, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the production and packaging of fresh produce. You will work as part of a team to ensure the quality and safety of our products, as well as the efficiency and cleanliness of our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and oversee the grading, trimming, packing and sealing of product in Custom & Prepack
• Handle all produce and material in a safe manner to prevent damage and waste
• Communicate and co-operate with staff
• To put away all items and supplies when finished
• To keep area clean, tidy and organize
• Cleaning of the Distribution Centre and grounds
• Perform all duties in an accurate, safe and efficient manner
• Handle weights up to 50 lbs.
• Adhere to all company procedures and policies
• To strive to achieve the company’s mission and goals
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Labourer work experience
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Courteous and friendly
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have a high attention to detail
• Physically fit to perform tasks required
• Must be bondable

Working Conditions and Position Specifics:

• Must be physically fit to perform tasks required
• Must be able to handle weights up to 50 lbs.
• Must have ability to work at various heights
• Ability to work with loud noises
• Tolerance for cool temperatures
• All staff are required to wear steel-toed shoes.

Rate of Pay: Minimum Wage
Shift: Days, Evenings, Overnights
Expected start date: As Soon As Possible
